Nigeria has recorded another 20 new cases of coronavirus, summing it to a total number of 210 confirmed cases.
After Osun state revealed six case as at Friday 3rd of April, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced via social media that twenty more persons have tested positive to the virus.
The announcement read that eleven persons were confirmed in Lagos state, three in both Abuja and Edo state, two in Osun and one in Edo state.
”Twenty new cases of #COVID19have been reported in Nigeria; 11 in Lagos, 3 in the FCT, 3 in Edo, 2 in Osun & 1 in Ondo. Two new deaths have been recorded in Lagos and Edo State.
As at 10:30 pm 3rd of April, there are 210 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria”
A total of 25 people have been discharged from the Infectious Disease Hospital in Lagos including a mother and her child. Sadly 4 deaths have been recorded in Lagos and Edo states.
