Adamu Garba , former Presidential candidate , charged Nigerian youths ahead of 2023 general election to actively involve themselves in politics, and not be enticed by political appointments.
He made this disclosure on Thursday in a Facebook post on his verified handle.
He asked rhetorically if the old politicians can even open their emails or even operate their computer systems, and wondered how they would be able to fix Nigeria’s problems since all they do is writing memos and speeches which are often full of grammatical blunders.
“Can they even check their emails? How do we know if they can even operate systems? Do you think they can be able to analyze complex data information using BI and come up with properly informed decision about your well-being?
“How would they fix your problem when all they think is memos and written speeches, often full on disconnected dots, when your generation need facts, truth and straightforward solutions.
“That is why they think paying some of us 20 or 30k as social media aide is the job you need. Show them that in coming 2023, it is their job you need not the bench-warming SAs and the PAs(Senior Assistants and Personal Assistants) they’re giving you. Incidentally, taking over their jobs is the best way to fix Nigeria and all her problems. The solutions lie in your decision to take the lead. Are you ready? Because I am.
He further went on to say that the current generations need facts, truth and straightforward solutions from the old politicians while charging the youths to get prepared to take the mantle of leadership in 2023, adding he is prepared to take the challenge.
