President Muhammadu Buhari will address the nation in a broadcast on Monday following the end of the first phase of the gradual easing of the COVID-19 lockdown.
Aliyu Sani, the national coordinator of the presidential task force on COVID-19, made this disclosure when he appeared on a Political program on one of the national television stations on Sunday.
According to him, the president is to decide on whether or not the country should go ahead with the second phase of the easing of the lockdown.

It will be recalled that the President issued the order to ease movement restrictions earlier imposed on three key states in a bid to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
In another televised speech on Monday, President Muhammadu Buhari is set to review the phased and gradual easing of lockdown measures in FCT, Lagos and Ogun states in the light of the current COVID-19 realities as briefed by Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.
