1 million bottles of Aquafina drinking water as well as beverages have been donated to the Lagos State Emergency Food Relief including other state of the country by Seven Up Bottling Company (SBC).

The company revealed that the out reach was with the objective of assisting state governments in provide necessary items for the needy especially those directly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. it also noted that it has more plans to support the initiatives to control the spread of the virus.

The highlight was the awareness campaign in collaboration with Niyi Akinmolayan, Nollywood Director who will be producing educational video content aimed at the grassroots population with support from its production team.  More so, it was evident that the Nigerian Minister of Health is beginning to see the fruit of the lockdown protocol in Lagos, Ogun, and Abuja and is sure it would help slow things down.

Acknowledging the timeliness of SBC and appealing to the public to continue to adhere to the measures to curb the pandemic, the Managing Director of SBC, Mr. Ziad Maalouf appreciated for the donation saying ” we are stronger when we take collective action to help each other stay safe”.
