Sanwo-Olu also constituted the Eight-man Lagos Rebuild Trust Fund Committee, which will be headed by Yemi Cardoso, to oversee the rebuilding of every aspect of the state and also look at the future and healing of wounds.
The governor signed the executive order at the Lagos House, Alausa, Ikeja, on Wednesday.
Among those present during the signing are Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat; and Attorney General/Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Moyosore Onigbanjo.
The Lagos Chamber of Commerce said in a statement that estimated economic losses in the past 12 days were at 700 billion naira ($1.8 billion dollars, 1.5 billion euros).
Earlier, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, said Sanwo-Olu told him the state would need N1trn for reconstruction in the aftermath of the destruction caused by hoodlums who hijacked the #EndSARS protests.
