Tizeti, a new Internet service provider (ISP) in Nigeria, has started a nationwide hiring drive to fill open positions.
Prior to the company’s expansion into 10 more states, which will increase the country’s broadband penetration, hiring will take place.
Young Nigerian graduates are encouraged to apply for positions in a variety of divisions, including field sales engineering, network operations center, human resources, administration, sales and marketing, finance, and customer service, according to a post on the company’s website.
All applicants must also possess a degree with a minimum GPA of 2.75 in their chosen fields, it was added.
Extension to more states: Tizeti, which currently offers broadband service in Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Rivers, and Edo States, announced that it is now expanding its broadband service to 10 more states in accordance with the Nigeria National Broadband Plan (NNBP 2020-2025). In addition to improving the competitiveness of the states with high-speed and reasonably priced broadband internet, the expansion is anticipated to offer significant opportunities for the states that lack an adequate broadband infrastructure.
The states are Akwa Ibom, Delta, Cross River, Abia, Anambra, Imo, Enugu, Abuja, Kano, and Kaduna, according to Tizeti.
The founder and CEO of Tizeti, Kendall Ananyi, commented on the company’s growth:
“We are thrilled to increase the number of Nigerian locations where we offer broadband internet services. Only a few states still have access to reliable and affordable internet connectivity. Millions of Nigerians will be able to participate in and contribute to the digital economy thanks to the last-mile digital infrastructure that we will build in these states. As many states are implementing comprehensive digital agendas, internet access in these states will complement existing or new state government initiatives for eGovernment implementation, digital access, and investment promotion.
In order to connect millions of people to the internet and provide them with life-changing socioeconomic opportunities, Tizeti will construct brand-new, solar-powered, 4G-capable towers in these cities. It will also make use of extensive fiber networks built by some of its partners, including MainOne and Facebook.
