Confederation of African Football (CAF) has disclosed the rescheduling of matches for the next international break as a result of the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic which has grounded all sporting activities.

The Super Eagles were to face Benin in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in the second leg qualifier, but the announcement says it has to wait till a new date is fixed by FIFA.  More so, the doubleheader clash between Nigeria and Sierra Leone scheduled for 27th March in  Asaba, Delta State and Freetown at Siaka Stevens Stadium was also postponed.

Working with the information gotten from the FIFA Confederation Group established by the Bureau of the Council to address the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, a recommendation was made that included the shift of date of all matches scheduled for June.
