Ex-Manchester City forward striker Sergio Aguero has once again devalued the quality of goals scored by Cristiano Ronaldo for Real Madrid. Ronaldo notched up 450 goals in 438 appearances to become the Los Blancos’ record goal scorer.

The 38-year-old led the Spanish giants to win four UEFA Champions League titles and two La Liga trophies, among other honours. Aguero doesn’t rate Ronaldo’s goals During his nine-year stay at Santiago Bernabeu, Ronaldo netted some sensational goals, including long-range shots, bicycle kicks, solo runs, counter-attacking goals, and more.

However, legendary Manchester City striker Aguero looked unimpressed when watching a compilation of some of Ronaldo’s best goals on Spanish streaming giant Ibai Llanos’ Twitch channel. The Argentine even believes Real Madrid icons Karim Benzema and Raul Gonzalez bagged better goals for the 14-time European champions.

“Raul & Benzema have scored better goals for Madrid than Cristiano Ronaldo,” Aguero said via The Madrid Zone.

Aguero went a notch higher to claim the outstanding goals scored by the Al-Nassr skipper were a stroke of luck. “Was lucky,” Aguero said, as translated by Sportskeeda. He even added that Ronaldo’s 40-yard strike against FC Porto in the Champions League in 2008 was the goalkeeper’s fault.

Aguero’s comment has since convinced social media users that he was ‘hating’ on the Portuguese veteran.
