ANAMBRA COMMENCES ‘ON AIR TEACHING’ FOR SS3 STUDENTS

The Anambra State Government on Wednesday stated it had began the educating of 8 topics on radio to help SS-3 students get ready for th Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE).

The State Commissioner for Basic Education, Prof. Kate Omenugha told Newsmen in Awka, that the programme tagged “Anambra Teaching On Air”, would be sure that students were engaged all through the school closure.

Recall that public and private primary and secondary schools were shut down in Anambra from March 23, as a precautionary measure against the spread of Covid-19.

Omenugha mentioned teachers who specialised in core subjects like Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Literature-in-English and Financial Accounting, would take the quite a lot of topics on radio in line with already prepared agenda.

She mentioned that though the tutorials were targeted on the SS-three students getting ready for their SSCE, but SS-1 and SS-2 students may additionally have the benefit of it.
