The Edo State Governorship Election Committee on Tuesday submitted the result of the June 22 All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Primary to the National Working Committee at the party National Secretariat in Abuja.

The Secretary of the committee presented the result on behalf of the Chairman of the 7-man committee, Governor Hope Uzodinma to the National Vice Chairman South South, Hon. Hillard Etagbo Eta who stood in for the acting National Chairman, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi.

According to the secretary, the primary was hitch free and conducted in compliance with all Covid-19 protocol.

The National Vice Chairman lauded the committee for a job well done despite the challenges that confronted the committee in carrying out their assignment.

He said the report will be forwarded to the Election Appeal Committee.
