Arsenal are interested in signing Takefusa Kubo on loan from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window, according to reports.
The 19-year-old Japanese prodigy is being considered by the Gunners for a loan move.
Kubo joined Real Madrid from FC Tokyo in the summer of 2019, but is yet to establish a foothold in their first-team squad. Having arrived in the Spanish capital with a lot of hype around him, there were invariably suggestions that the teenage prodigy could emulate Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo Goes in the attacking department.

However, Kubo was sent out on loan to RCD Mallorca last season before joining Villarreal in the summer. The move to Villarreal, though, did not pan out as envisioned, which then forced Real Madrid to haul him out Getafe, where he has continued to struggle for minutes. Ahead of this summer’s transfer window, though, an intriguing option in Arsenal has emerged.
