Beyoncé Breaks The Record For The Artist With The Most Grammys.

During a historic evening in Los Angeles, Beyoncé became the most honored artist in Grammys history.

The performer, who arrived late to the ceremony due to traffic, took home awards for best traditional R&B performance, best dance/electronic album, best dance/electronic recording, and best R&B song. She currently holds 32 Grammy victories.

The 41-year-old said on stage after taking home the record-breaking prize for dance/electronic album, “I’m trying not to be too emotional.” “This night, I’m trying to just receive,” The “queer community for their love and for inventing the genre,” she added, as well as her “beautiful husband.”

Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems, is a Nigerian singer who won her first Grammy on Sunday night. Best Rap Melodic Performance went to Tems, who collaborated with Drake on Future’s “Wait for You.” Additionally, the song received a nomination for Best Rap Song.

For Harry’s House, Harry Styles won the Grammy for album of the year, the biggest award of the evening. He beat out Beyoncé and Adele, saying, “I’ve been so, so inspired by every artist in this category with me.” “This doesn’t happen to people like me very often,” the speaker said. “I think on nights like tonight it’s so important to remember there is no such thing as best in music.” He also received the best pop vocal album prize.

For her sixteenth Grammy to date, Adele won best pop solo performance for her song Easy on Me. She began her succinct but emotional acceptance speech with, “I really was just looking forward to coming tonight,” choking up when speaking about her son.

Best rap song, best rap album, and best rap performance all went to Kendrick Lamar. He referred to the album Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers as one of his “toughest” projects in his acceptance speech, saying “I would like to thank the culture for allowing me to evolve.”

For her song About Damn Time, Lizzo won record of the year. She exclaimed, “This is so unexpected.” “I’d like to give Prince credit for this award. I made the decision to devote my life to creating uplifting music after Prince passed away. She also praised Beyoncé, referring to her as “the artist of our lives,” for having changed her life.

For Just Like That, Bonnie Raitt defeated Adele, Styles, Lamar, Lizzo, and Beyoncé to win song of the year. She began by saying, “I’m so surprised, I don’t know what to say,” before paying homage to her friend and role model John Prine. She continued, “Thank you so much, I’m just completely humbled.
