Breaking: Guinness World Records Confirms Irish Chef Alan Fisher Dethrones Hilda Baci

Irish chef Alan Fisher has officially taken the title from Hilda Baci, the Nigerian chef, according to Guinness World Records. 

Fisher, who owns a restaurant in Japan, now holds the record for the longest cooking marathon for an individual, with an astounding time of 119 hours and 57 minutes.

This achievement surpasses Baci’s previous record by over 24 hours.

In addition to this remarkable feat, Fisher also claimed the record for the longest baking marathon by an individual, with a duration of 47 hours and 21 minutes, outdoing the previous record held by Wendy Sandner from the USA, who baked for 31 hours and 16 minutes. 

Guinness World Records revealed its feat on X platform on Tuesday. 

“Nigerian cooking queen Hilda Baci has been dethroned,” GWR posted. 

“Alan Fisher from Ireland cooked for an incredible 119 hours and 57 minutes at his restaurant in Japan,” it added.
