ABUJA—PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has endorsed the proposal of the Ministry of Transportation under Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi for the setting up of an Administrative Panel of Inquiry to examine the Management of the Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA.

The President has additionally endorsed that the Managing Director, Hadiza Bala Usman move to one side while the examination is completed. Mr Mohammed Koko will act around there.

This was contained in an explanation gave by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu before the end of last night. As per the assertion, “The board is to be going by the Director, Maritime Services of the Ministry while the Deputy Director, Legal of a similar service will fill in as Secretary. “Different individuals from the board will be named by the Minister.”
