Capitalization lifted consumer goods at 1.8%

At the end of last weeks transaction,  consumer goods stock like that of Honey well ,Flour mill Plc closed higher on the Nigerian stock Exchange (NGX).

Which led nine other consumer to gain the chart with 28.93 per cent, to close at #2.05 kobo.

Following that  Honeywell was northern Nigerian flourmill, which added 22.76 per cent  to close at #7.55 kobo per share.

 

Other gainers were Airtel Africa ,Coniol, Neimeth Pharmaceuticals , adding 15.38 per cent , 9.83 per cent to close at #750 , #22.36 kobo and #1.64 kobo respectively

Skyway Aviation Handling company , Pharmdeko and Academy press also increased. by 9.18 per cent and 7.89 percent to close at #3.45 kobo , #1.19 kobo and 41 kobo in that order.

On the other hand ,Juli plc emerged the highest price loser with 18.02c percent to close at 91 kobo with regency assurance followed with 12.5 per  cent at 42 kobo .

Cutix depreciated by 11.5 percent to close at #5 consolidation hallmark ad SFS Real Estate Investment Trust shed 10.17 per cent  and 9.99 per cent to close at 53 kobo and 61.75 kobo

University Press , Wema bank  , and Veritas Kapital assurance also lost 9.79 percent and 8.33 per cent to close at #1.29 kobo , 79 kobo and 22 kobo respectively

Consequently , NGX  all -share index and market capitalization appreciated by 1.8 per cent to close the week at 39.522.34 and 20.592 trillion respectively .

Similarly , all other indices finished higher except NGX Premium , NGX Insurance , NGX Asem ,  NGX AFR  Div. Yield  and NGX  Industrial Goods indices , which depreciated by 0.17 per cent ,2.37 per cent , 2.82 per cent , 0.24 percent  and 1.35  per cent respectively , while the NGX Growth  Index closed flat.

A turnover of 1.6 billion shares worth  #12.6 billion was recorded in 18.622 deals traded by investors on the floor of the exchange

The financial services industry ( measured by volume ) led the activity chart with 584.8 million shares valued at #3.7 billion traded in 8.658 deals thus contributing per cent to the total equity turnover
