In continuation of her kind gestures to the welfare of women and widows, specifically, the wife of the Governor of Ogun State, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun has donated and dispensed food items worth millions of naira to them in Sagamu axis of the state.
The event which happened on the Sagamu Town Hall in collaboration with Remo Development Forum and the Sagamite Babes attracted widows and unmarried mothers from Sagamu and environs without reference to their ages.
Mrs. Abiodun on the 24th of June, 2019, flagged off her dedication towards widows on the June 12, Cultural Centre, Kuto Abeokuta, where 1,000 widows got donations of cash and food pieces and her dedication has since remained consistent.

Mrs. Abiodun, represented by the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Funmi Efuwape at the occasion stated the donation was a method of relieving the hardship that can be caused on account of the 14 days lockdown announced by the Federal government to curb the unfold of Coronavirus.
Mrs. Abiodun who expressed her choice to extend the gesture to other portions of the state prompt girls within the state to comply with the governments’ directives at flattening the curve of the virus for the good of all.
