According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via its social media announcement on Saturday, Nigeria has confirmed more 220 people positive to the COVID-19 virus rising the national record of infected people to 2,388.
A breakdown of the announcement revealed that 62 cases were identified in Lagos, 52 in FCT, 31 in Kaduna and 13 from Sokoto, 10 in Kebbi, 9 in Yobe, 6 in Borno, 5 in Edo and Bauchi, 4 in Gombe, Enugu and Oyo.
While 3 were confirmed in Zamfara, 2 were confirmed in Nasarawa, Osun, Ebonyi, Kwara, Kano and Plateau states. Currently 385 people have recovered are have been discharged, with 85 deaths.
