Real Madrid have had more than their fair share of injuries of late, but there is positive news as Los Blancos could welcome back three key players ahead of their Champions League semi-final first-leg clash with Chelsea.
Former Chelsea star Eden Hazard trained with the rest of his teammates a day before the LaLiga Santander clash with Real Betis, and Zinedine Zidane has confirmed he will be in the squad.
Hazard has already missed 58 games through injury, though the winger will likely be fit to face his old club.
He could be his first appearance against the Blues since leaving 2019.

Midfielder Luka Modric has also returned to group training after missing two games with a back injury, and Toni Kroos is back doing individual training after sitting out Real Madrid’s win over comfortable win over Cadiz on Wednesday.
It’s not all good news for Zinedine Zidane, however. Captain Sergio Ramos, who has been out since the start of the month, is back doing some individual training with a ball but will miss the first leg, hoping to return for the second.
Fede Valverde, who has been key for Zidane this season, is also out after being diagnosed with coronavirus. He is another who will return for the second leg, while full-back Ferland Mendy could also miss out.
Mendy still hasn’t returned to training following a calf injury and he is seen as unlikely to return in time to face Chelsea in the first leg after missing the last four games.
