With the scares of the Endsars  protest and Endsars memorial which is  barely just a week , it seems that the major aim and purpose behind the protest is yet to be looked into and duly addressed .

A year after the Lekki toll gate massacre  a memorial was held at the Lekki toll gate in remembrance of victims , this was anchored by Mr Macaroni and Falz . With scares not yet healed the Nigerian police  unleashed terror on peaceful protesters even on the day of the memorial .

Barely a week after the memorial and the gory activities it witnessed , the POLICE REFORM  is still yet to be implemented as  the Nigerian Police are seen extorting money from Nigerian youths . it was reported by an eye witness that the police escorted a student to the ATM machine at Kogi state to collect the sum of 30,000, for no reason.

Another was also  reported just yesterday in Lagos where two up and coming artist  returning from a record section , where  stopped by the police , and asked to follow them to the police station , on arrival there phones where searched and nothing incriminating found, but upon this they where asked to write a statement ,they asked why but no tangible reason given , meanwhile,  while the police searched throughone of there  phones , his account balance wasn’t left out , on seeing this he was asked to make a transfer of 30,000 naira into  one of the officers account , for no reason.

But the question still remains and still lingers , what right has the Nigerian police to the phones of citizens?
