The Ministry of Works, on Wednesday, made an announcement on behalf of the Federal Government regarding the temporary closure of two ramps on the Third Mainland Bridge for necessary repairs.
In a statement issued by the Federal Controller of Works for Lagos, Engr. (Mrs.) O. I. Kesha, it was disclosed that the repair work will commence concurrently on the ramps that link Oworoshoki to Adekunle and Lagos Island (Adeniji Adele) to Adekunle.
Kesha specified that these ramps will be inaccessible to traffic starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, November 6, 2023, and will remain closed for a duration of 5 weeks.
She also advised motorists to cooperate with traffic management authorities by following diversion instructions and recommended the use of alternative routes provided.
