Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has been by the Lagos Police Department for going against the Federal Order on total lockdown in major cities including Lagos.

Mr. Bala Elkana who is the Police Public Relations Officer in Lagos, made this confirmation as he explained that the actress was arrested for violating the restriction orders in the state.

The Lagos state government had restricted any form of social gathering for a period of 14 days as it appealed to residents to maintain social distancing. This was particularly to churches, mosques, weddings and social function that can attract a large crowd with the exception of essential workers such as food stores,  pharmacies,  media agencies and power transmission companies.

The PRO’s statement read the gathering was a birthday celebration which included Funke Akindele herself, her husband, Abdul Rasheed Bello – popularly known as JJC Skillz and some familiar faces around Ajah in the Ibeju-Lekki area of the state.

Azeez Fashola, also known  as Naira Marley was also member of the party. Others have been told to identify themselves before the police does through the viral video.

Funke, has regrettably apologized to her fan.
