IGP TESTS NEGATIVE TO CORONA VIRUS

Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Adamu, on Tuesday tested negative to Coronavirus.

This was disclosed by the Force  Public Relations Officer, DCP Frank Mba , who mentioned that some police officers working with the IGP also were tested as policing is a high contact job. According to his statement, the Principal Staff Officer to the IGP, Idowu Owohunwa; Head of the Force Technical Intelligent Unit, Lanre  Ogunlowo; Personal Physician to the IGP, Dr. Nonye Welle; Medical Officer at the Force Headquarter, Dr. Titus Adegbite; Secretary to the IGP, Moses Jolugbo and some others did the test.

The IGP encouraged police personnel nationwide to adhere strictly to all precautionary measures in the carrying out their duties. He also advised members of the public to cooperate with the Force by obeying restriction order given  by constituted authorities, for the benefit of the nation.
