JAYWON CHARGED FOR BREACHING COVID-19 CURFEW OF LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT

Nigerian Musician Iledare Olajuwonlo popularly known as Jaywon was recently arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for breaching the night curfew directive imposed by the State Government as part of the conditions for easing the lockdown order to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

The Policemen attached to Dolphin Estate Division arrested the singer while he was driving to an unknown place at about 11pm on Monday. He was taken to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Panti, Yaba.

After giving his statement to the Police and arraigned before a Magistrate Court on Tuesday, Jaywon pleaded guilty to his charges and ordered to pay a fine of N10,000 as well as a 30- minute of community service.
