A Kidnapper in Adamawa Arrested At The Point Of Collecting 600k Ransom

Roland Raymond, a 32-year old man has been arrested by the Adamawa state police operatives at the point of collecting N600,000 ransom.

In a statement made by the command on Monday, the suspect was arrested for the offence of criminal intimidation associated with kidnapping.

According to The police the suspect was arrested following a report by Alhaji Yahaya Congo and Abraham Paul, who said Raymond called them via phone and demanded the sum of N600,000 or risk being kidnapped.

After receiving the complaints, the police in Ganye Division, working with hunters, quickly mobilized and detained the suspect as he was about to collect the required money, according to the statement.
