Popular Nigerian comedian and Actor, Ayodeji Richard Makun, best known as AY comedian, has really outdone himself as he turns 50 today. The ‘Original Warri Boy’ took to social media to express how he feels about his new age and added stunning photos to celebrate such a milestone.

For marking 50 years on Earth, he tagged his new era #50shadesofhustle, depicting how tough it has been for him from the streets to the higher heights. Born in Warri, Nigeria, he has gradually crept his way up from scratch to the pinnacle of success.

He is arguably the most successful Nigerian comedian and the most followed Nigerian stand-up comedian on social media.

He is the host of the African largest comedy show, ‘AY Live,’ which features comedians like Bovi, Kenny Blaq, Helen Paul, and more. He also helps up-and-coming comedians with his show called AY “Open Mic Challenge.”

In 2009, he was made UN Peace Ambassador. He has won numerous awards, including six (6) comedian of the year awards in 2008, one (1) in 2010, and two (2) in 2013. He has also featured in not less than ten (10) movies.
