Lagos state Teaching Hospital has given the finishing touches to the 120-bedded isolation centre at the hospital premises.

The Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 made this know during a tour at the isolation centres in Lagos state this Tuesday. 60 beds are currently available, awaiting the arrival of the other beds to be provided by NCDC.

Professor Akin Abayomi, the Lagos state Commissioner for Health said the centre was ready for use. the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Professor Chris Bode who was also present at the tour noted that the project was initiated to provide adequate care for Nigerian  in Lagos who tested positive to the infection.
