Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, at the weekend flagged off the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan remodeling project.

The event, which held at the mainbowl of the stadium, had in attendance top government officials, including the state’s Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Seun Fakorede, Management of Lekan Salami Stadium and other sports lovers, among others.

In his address, Makinde explained that the total contract sum for the remodeling of the Sports Complex is N5,580,115,162 adding that the project will be funded via the Alternate Project Funding Approach (APFA).

He promised that the project would be completed in 18 months.
