Manchester United have made a new right-back one of their priorities for the summer window as they search for competition for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Though Wan-Bissaka has impressed as the first-choice in the position, it is felt that a more attacking option is needed when United come up against teams playing with a low defensive block.
One option who has long been eyed by United to fill that gap is Kieran Trippier, who won La Liga this season with Atletico Madrid.

Trippier wants to get back to Premier League as he’s spent most of his footballing career in England prior to taking his action to Wanda Metropolitano Stadium from Tottenham Hotspur in 2019 as he signed for Athletico Madrid.
The former Spurs defender is one of four right-backs in the England squad for the upcoming European Championships, and will be out of contract in the Spanish capital at the end of next season.
