He added that the President should sack non-performing ministers if he means well for the country.
Eze Onyekpere, the Lead Director of the Centre for Social Justice, has said the one year of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration was a failure.
Onyekpere disclosed this on Wednesday in an interview on Channels Television as Tinubu marks one year in Office.
He said fuel subsidy removal, naira harmonization and other economic policies of Tinubu’s administration were badly implemented.
“It is a hectic year we wish it won’t be repeated, because it is filled with failures”, he said.
Onyekpere said Nigerians on the streets are feeling the impulse of economic hardship as headline and food inflation surged by 33.69 percent and 40.53 respectively.
He added that the President should sack non-performing ministers if he means well for the country.
Financial experts have described fuel subsidy removal and naira harmonization as the most impactful policies that have shaped Nigeria’s economy in the last 365 days.
