NIGERIA RETURNEE WELCOMES BABY ABOARD EMIRATE FLIGHT

Among the stranded Nigerian travelers to arrive Lagos on the Emirate Airline from Dubai, UAE, on Wednesday was a pregnant lady, Mrs Kafayat Amusan who delivered while on  board.

Delivering her baby boy about 30 minutes after departure, which resulted in the plane returning back to Dubai after take off, the Nigerian Ambassador in Dubai, Ambassador Rimi and staff of the Embassy confirmed both mother and child are in good condition.

Emirates Airline had to change to another aircraft which is now enroute to Lagos with 265 returnees on board.

Congratulating the Mother for a safe delivery, the Chairman/CEO Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa also mentioned that  Mrs Amusan will return to Nigeria after obtaining birth certificate and other necessary travel documents for her child.
