Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, also known as Wizkid, has shared the reasons behind his foray into movie acting.
The Starboy boss, who recently announced a break from music, revealed his desire to engage in movie roles involving kissing scenes and shooting guns.
Wizkid conveyed this intention through a recent Instagram story, expressing in Pidgin, “Shebi I tell una I one dey act film!…I just want dey kiss and shoot a gun for a movie. Daz all!!”
Initially suggesting a three or four-year break from the studio, Wizkid is now contemplating extending the hiatus to six years, as indicated in another Instagram story: “Loving every bit of this holiday. Might extend to six years.”
