In a Friday statement made by the Nigeria’s Private Sector Coalition Against COVID-19 representative, Isaac Okorafor of Central Bank of Nigeria the accumulated record of all donations by associations, individuals and private organisation, both national and international sums to N25,893,699,791.00.

The statement says the Coalition “conveys its gratitude to all the institutions and individuals that have generously donated to this fund.” 

While restating the commitment to full disclosure and accountability for all donations made, Mr Issac Okoroafor appealed for support to the needy of the society any way possible, “consider contributing to this national solidarity to provide not only medical equipment and materials but also to render urgently needed palliatives to the poor and vulnerable segments of our society.”
