Seyi Makinde, the governor of Oyo State, issued a directive on Thursday to dissolve the Task Force on Waste Management.
The dissolution was effective right away, according to Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, the chairman of the Transition and Inauguration Committee.
This was said in a statement made on Thursday by Mr. Gideon Alade, the Coordinating Director for the Ministry of Information, Culture, and Tourism.
The task force was mandated by this direction to formally transfer and submit all government properties to the Transition and Inauguration Committee, according to the statement.
“His Excellency appreciates your significant contributions to the growth of our beloved state and wishes you success in your future endeavors,” the statement reads.
