President Bola Tinubu has appointed 21 federal commissioners for the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).
The president’s special adviser on media and publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, stated in a statement on Tuesday that the senate must confirm their positions.
Linda Nkechi Oti (Abia), Steve Ugba (Benue), Chief Eyonsa (Cross-River), Aruviere Egharhevwe (Delta), Nduka Henry Awuregu (Ebonyi), Victor Eboigbe (Edo), Wumi Ogunlola (Ekiti), and Ozo Obumreme Obodougo (Enugu) are the new federal commissioners.
Additionally appointed are the following: Saad Bello Ibrahim (Plateau), Modu-Aji Juluri (Yobe), Bello Rabiu Garba (Zamfara), Bako Shetima (Niger), Samuel Durojaye (Ogun), Adamu Fanda (Kano), Kunle Wright (Lagos), and Aliyu Almakura Abdulkadir (Nasarawa) Mohammed Kabeer Usman (Gombe).
Ngelale said Tinubu expects the new federal commissioners to demonstrate absolute fidelity to the nation in the discharge of their duties.
