The ruling All Progressives Congress’ National Working Committee has unveiled a new list comprising 191 members who will lead the national governorship campaign in Kogi State for the upcoming November 11 election.

The announcement was made in a statement issued by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Suleiman Arugungu, in Abuja on Wednesday evening.

This development follows the party’s denial on Tuesday of previously circulated documents containing the names of campaign council officials for Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi States.

The recently published document, made public on Wednesday by the APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, outlines new appointments for the Kogi State governorship campaign. In this regard, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos was appointed the chairman of the Kogi campaign train.

Governor Sanwo-Olu will be supported by Governors Mohammed Bago of Niger State and Sani Uba of Kaduna State, who have been chosen as co-chairpersons of the campaign council.

Prominent figures such as Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the APC, as well as the incumbent governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, the Minister of Works, David Umahi, and the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, have also been included, making up the complete 191-member campaign council for Kogi State.
