South-West Govs Visit Akeredolu in Ibadan

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, along with other South-West governors, visited his Ondo counterpart, Rotimi Akeredolu. 

The meeting took place in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State. In attendance were Dapo Abiodun of Ogun, Seyi Makinde of Oyo, and Biodun Oyebanji.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss various national and regional issues affecting the South-West and its residents. Notably, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke was noticeably absent, and there was no provided reason for his nonattendance.

During the meeting, Akeredolu, who also serves as the Chairman of the South-West governors, expressed his gratitude for the support of his colleagues and emphasized the importance of continued collaboration among the South-West states.

Governor Makinde highlighted that the South-West governors are offering support and prayers for Akeredolu. This gathering took place six weeks after Akeredolu’s return to Ondo from Germany, following an absence of approximately three months.
