Taraba State government, by way of easing the prevailing lockdown in the state, has given the directive that its people can resume religious activities, in spite of the of the ongoing novel Coronavirus pandemic in the country,
This news was broken by the State Deputy Governor, Haruna Manu, during a statewide broadcast yesterday.
However, he admonished the people of the state to take precautions, observe social distancing and other safety protocols while observing their religious activities.

He said there would be gradual ease of restriction of movement and other activities across the State.
Manu further announced that the residents carry out their activities on Friday’s, Saturdays and Sundays, from 8 am. to 6 pm.
He ordered that the lockdown would still be observed on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The deputy governor further notes that violators would face strict penalties while calling on religious leaders and other citizens to comply with the rules.
