Tinubu Arrives In Riyadh For Saudi-Africa Summit

President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the upcoming Saudi-Africa Summit on Friday. 

He was warmly received by officials, including ministers and members of the National Assembly, upon his arrival. 

Tinubu will use the opportunity of the summit to underscore Nigeria’s commitment to attracting more foreign direct investment and expanding business partnerships. 

According to the presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, the visit would strongly reinforce the administration’s ongoing domestic economic reforms.

The inaugural Saudi-Africa Summit’s discussions will focus on bolstering collaborative efforts, improving political coordination, and addressing regional security challenges. 

Additionally, it aims to promote economic transformation through research and local development of innovative energy solutions, fostering increased cross-sector investment cooperation, as noted by Ngelale. 

President Tinubu is joined by government officials, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Education, Coordinating Minister of the Economy, National Security Adviser, Director General of the National Intelligence Agency, and Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria.
