President Bola Tinubu expressed his unwavering trust in the integrity of his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, during the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Monday.

The President addressed issues that had concerned him, including unauthorized individuals gaining access to the Council Chambers of the State House, and called for an end to any smear campaigns or insinuations against his Chief of Staff.

Femi Gbajabiamila, who served as the Speaker of the House of Representatives from 2019 to 2023 and was re-elected for his sixth consecutive term in the February 25 National Assembly election, is a close associate of Tinubu, the former governor of Lagos State from May 1999 to May 2007.

He assumed the role of Chief of Staff to the President in mid-2023.
