Liverpool are eyeing a summer swoop for Aston Villa’s teenage sensation Carney Chukwuemeka, with Manchester City and Bayern Munich also involved in the chase, according to reports.

The Nigerian-born ’s days at Aston Villa could be numbered as the youngster continues to attract interest from European heavyweights, including Liverpool, Manchester City and Bayern Munich.

Part of the Aston Villa academy since 2016, Chukwuemeka is highly regarded as one of the most exciting young talents in England. The 17-year-old is often looked at in the same category as Jude Bellingham, the former Birmingham City whizkid who is finding immense success since joining Borussia Dortmund last summer.

It has put Liverpool on red alert as they attempt to poach the young midfielder, whose current contract at Aston Villa expires in 2023. The Villans, though, are determined to offer the teenage sensation a new deal as soon as he turns 18, later this year.
