The Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore has revealed that it has directed every Fulani in Nigeria not to vote for the Labour Party flag bearer and 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
In a recent interview with Punch News, the National Chairman of the herder groups, Mr Saleh Ahassan noted that Peter Obi is a ‘tribal bigot’ that represents the interest of the Indigenous People of Biafra.
According to the Fulani socio-cultural group, Peter Obi’s interest would not favour the Fulani interest in Nigeria, therefore, he was not an option to be considered in the forthcoming presidential election.
Speaking further, Saleh noted that when Peter Obi was the governor of Anambra state, he ruined the businesses of northerners while also prohibiting them from entering the state.
Reacting however to the accusations, the spokespeople for Peter Obi’s Support Network, Mr Jones, observed that Peter Obi was a patriot whose interest was in alignment with the country’s interest.
