According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, there has been 12 new cases of Lassa Fever and between March 30 and April 5 2020, three deaths have been recorded from the infection.
The Agency revealed this in week 14 report of Lassa fever announced via social media on Thursday, which stated that the cases were identified in Sokoto, Bauchi, Edo Ebonyi and Ondo states
Further stated by the report “In week 14, the number of new confirmed cases decreased from 19 cases in week 13, 2020 to 12 cases.”

More so, in the 14th week report, there was no health worker infection. the total record since its first outbreak records 188 deaths nationwide.
