The Abuja-based Court of Appeal has upheld the tribunal’s decision that pronounced Nasiru Gawuna of the All Progressive Congress as the winner of the governorship election.
The tribunal, headed by Justice Oluyemi Osadebay, nullified Governor Abba Yusuf’s election, citing the invalidity of 165,663 of his votes due to unsigned and unstamped ballot papers as per the Independent National Electoral Commission.
